Linden Lea is under new management.  As of March 1, 2010 Nan Funkhouser will be managing the boarding business.  Nan lives on site with her husband and has had a part of Linden Lea ever since we opened.  Please contact Nan Funkhouser at (785)594-2686 or klartrak@earthlink.net if interested in boarding your horse. 
Becky, previous owner of Linden Lea, was offered the manager position at a local animal shelter.  Becky accepted the job and is looking forward to giving many, many dogs and cats a second chance at life. 

We are fully dedicated to giving the best care we can to all the horses that live at our place.  We believe in doing what is best for the horse.  We want to make sure all of the horses and horse owners are happy when they are at our barn.  When you think of our barn we want you to think/feel like you are coming out to a place of your own.  We want your experience at our barn to be one of your best.  We have so much to offer.  We offer stall boarding, pasture boarding, natural hoof trimming, lessons for any age(dressage, hunter/jumper, eventing, English, some western), trail riding, parades, shows, mushroom hunting, barn parties.  The list can go on.  We also offer lesson/training sessions for you and your horse.  We teach you to be the trainer/teacher to your own horse.  If you have any 'issues' you'd like to work with between you and your horse we can help.  Another attribute to our barn is we have/ride in treeless saddles.  We would love to talk to you more about treeless saddles and even have you ride in one to really see the difference.  Your horse will love you for it.
